Hiranyakashyap wanted to revenge the death of his brother, so he decided to become the king of the underworld, earth and also heaven. So he started to do many performances and prayers for many years. After a long time, his prayer was granted by Lord Bramha. Bramha said that he would not be killed by man or animal day or night. After getting this power he had thought that he becomes invincible. So ordered all in his kingdom to worship him otherwise everyone would burn to death. But his own son Prahalad continues to worship Lord Vishnu and that makes Hiranyakashyap angry. So he decided to kill his own son. Demon king did everything to kill his son but could not kill Prahalad. Then he planned that Prahalad would be burned to death. So He asked his sister Holika who also has a boom that she can not burn in the fire. So a Pierre was brightened and Holika holds Prahalad and sat on fire. Eventually, Prahalad was saved from the fire but Holika and the demon’s team were burnt to death, and that’s the history of Holi.
