The long-awaited results of the Primary viva examination are finally out! The official website has published the PDF file containing the names and marks of all the candidates who have qualified in the written test. It is a known fact that the qualifying rate in this exam is very low and only a handful of students make it to the final stage.

The cut off score for this year’s exam was 97 marks out of 200. The Primary viva examination is conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) every year for students who have completed their CA course from any institute affiliated with ICAI. The aim of this exam is to check the student’s practical knowledge about various aspects of accounting and auditing.

This year, around 150k+ students appeared for the written test out of which only 1000 could clear it. The final stage i.e., viva voce will be conducted on 26th, 27th & 28th February 2022 at different district in Bangladesh respectively. All those who have cleared the written test will have to appear for an interview with a panel consisting of three members.

The total marks allotted for this stage are 100 and the duration given to each candidate is 20 minutes. After clearing both these stages, candidates will be awarded with the coveted title of “Chartered Accountant”. Primary Viva Marks Distribution

What is a primary viva? A primary viva is an assessment of a candidate’s performance in their oral examination, which forms part of the process of becoming a qualified medical doctor in the United Kingdom. The viva is conducted by two or more senior academics, who grill the candidate on their knowledge of various topics relating to medicine.

The marks awarded for a primary viva range from 0 to 100, and are split into three sections: Clinical signs and symptoms – 25% Differential diagnosis – 25%

Management – 50% To pass the viva, candidates must score at least 60%.
